Atheists: wicked smart
Anytime someone professes the intelligence of one group over another, you can be sure of one thing: they are dumb.
This study claims people with high IQs are less likely to believe in God. I recently heard this (from atheists). I think the line of thought goes something like this...I value intelligence, and I am self-selecting into an intelligent group, everyone else is stupid. I am not 100% sure that is how it goes, but I probably have the idea right.
I would like to point out, yes, atheists are really, really, wicked smart. According to this study, 21% of atheists believe in God (8% are "absolutely certain"). Yes, you read that right. As a group atheists are that smart.
I point them to the dictionary definition of atheist:

Wow.
That's how most arguments that I'm in go.
There response is usually something like "It's merely rhetoric, therefore I'm right."
I think Chemists are the smartest people on the planet, what do you think Michael?
